Aiming at realization of advanced treatment in blood vessel

In a clinical site, X-ray, IVUS or OCT imaging systems are commonly used in cardiovascular treatment. However it is not easy to diagnose and treat diseased area without direct observation.

Conventional angioscope can observe inside the blood vessel, but the clinical needs are not satisfied because of limited resolution.　New treatment method by direct observation is necessary.

Direct observation of blood vessel by angioscope can be the last frontier for cardiovascular treatment.　We aim to realize "treatment by direct observation" by developing high-performance angioscope system.

-> By early diagnostics and treatment inside the blood vessel, we aim to realize "from hospitalization to outpatient care" in Todai COI site.
